In one of my continuing studies classes we had an idea of an environment in a bus stop that would create heating. There would be these units hanging from the ceiling and when you interact with them they start to glow and heat up. It is meant to encourage stranger interaction as a way to keep warm at the bus stop.
Now all I can think of are two messed up blue balls. Anyway more work to be done.
The Room! No not the Tommy Wiseau movie! The Room is a project I pick up and put down when I am learning new skills. It started with copying the window frames in a loft apartment where I lived when I first moved to Chicago. It has since progressed to the cactus and other plant where I was focusing on bodypaint although in this image they are not textured. When will I pick this up again and what project will I be avoiding?
Stegasaurus, Human and Type in ribbons.
Technically made this for a work project but hey I guess it counts.
Did a bit of remodeling on the hut shape. I have a pretty good idea of what I want it to look like now. Just kind of procrastinating making those textures. There will probably be another structure update before then anyways.
This is the very beginning stages of my version of Baba Yaga‘s hut. I am happy with the legs but will probably re do the structure of the building. I have ideas brewing and need to flush those out before the textures.
Here is a project I have been doing on and off. It is packaging for the poison apple in from Snow White.
Well, modeled this chair in Cinema 4d. Texturing is next!
Welp. Well, I started the texturing and got some awesome results with my first lighting set up BUT of course I didn’t save it as tends to happen. You do it once you think you can do it again no problem! Well we all know it isn’t that easy. So here is stage 2 for now.
I use to have a reoccurring nightmare when I was a kid that I was on a volcano and lava and a giant boulder were chasing me down the hill. I think it came from a combination of the magnificently terrible game Wacky Blasters and Indiana Jones , except, I was watching it like a sidescroller video game. Weird.
Well here is a cinema 4d and photoshop mash-up for sketchdaily’s Memorable Dream topic and Illustration Friday’s Fluid topic.
